This policy explains what information 4GRAND (“we”) collects when you use grand.tennis, how we use it, and the choices you have. By using the site you agree to this policy.
Information we collect
- Your phone number, which you give us to sign in (we text you a one-time code) and to receive messages about your pools.
- A display name you choose, shown to other players in your pools.
- Your gameplay: the pools you join, the picks you make, and your standings.
- Usage and device data: basic analytics about how the site is used (pages visited, general location, device type), collected through cookies only if you accept them.
How we use your information
- To sign you in and run your pools.
- To send you text messages: your sign-in code, gameplay reminders (such as when new matches are open to pick), results and recaps, and occasional messages inviting you back for a new tournament.
- To measure and improve the site, if you accept analytics cookies.
- To keep the service secure and to comply with the law.
Text messages
When you sign in with your phone number, you agree to receive text messages from 4GRAND related to your account and gameplay, plus occasional messages about new tournaments. Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You can opt out at any time by replying STOP to any message, or reply HELP for help. Opting out of texts may limit gameplay features that rely on messaging.
Cookies and analytics
We use Google Analytics to understand how the site is used. It sets cookies only after you accept them in our cookie banner. If you decline, no analytics cookies are set and no analytics data is collected. You can change your mind by clearing your browser storage for this site.
How we share information
We do not sell your personal information. We share it only with:
- Service providers that operate the product on our behalf: a messaging provider (to send texts), hosting and database providers (to run the site), a payment processor (Stripe, for the one-time fee to create a private pool), and Google (analytics, if accepted).
- Authorities, if required by law or to protect the service and its users.
Data retention
We keep your information for as long as your account is active and as needed to run the service. You can ask us to delete your account and personal information at any time (see Your choices).
Your choices
- Opt out of texts by replying STOP.
- Decline analytics cookies in the cookie banner.
- Request access to, or deletion of, your personal information by contacting us.
Children
4GRAND is intended for adults. It is not directed to children, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Security
We take reasonable measures to protect your information, but no method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. We will change the date above when we do, and significant changes will be noted on the site.
